The Trialmaster Pro is the latest and greatest edition of Belstaffs storied line of 3/4-length, 4-pocket waxed cotton riding jackets. Yes it looks just like its ancestors. And thats just itthis jacket maintains that timeless British motoring style.
But this particular series the Pro has been beefed up in strategic areas to give it the CE A certification. Its been given extra hidden layers of abrasion-resistant fabric at the elbow and shoulders, and the entire garment passes the new stricter standard. That of course includes D3O Evo X Level 1 shoulder and elbow armor. And each has a pocket ready for a D3O back protector* (sold separately).
The outer shell is made from British Millerain 10oz waxed cottontouched off nicely with corduroy accents at the cuff and collar.
The jacket comes with a full waxed cotton belt, which can be buckled down to keep the draft out, or tied loosely behind when you want it out of the way. Ithas a matching throat latch when its time to batten down all the hatches and ride into the wet and cold.
The quilted 150g insulated zip-in vest liner helps too. Remove it to reveal a quality tartan liner thats more appropriate for warmer weather.

The main two-way zipper is steppedmeaning it stops a good measure above the hem of the coat. This allows for the splay required to comfortably throw ones leg over a saddle. Also it sports thoughtfully rubberized lower buttons to protect your bikes precious paintwork.
And while this is a timeless jacket best served black, its also offered in a limited olive green color, whichalso promises to age beautifully through its (and your) lifetime.
